I know it was tying up a loose end from the previous book, but it just didn't fit.ģ) So nearly everyone knows about the 'Unknown World' now? Huh? Michael was gone for more than a century, the world ended, and yet there's people that know all about him when he was never all that well known. It sucked away all the suspense.Ģ) The scene with the little boy didn't need to be there at all. It would have been far better to leave his perspective out and draw out the ending sequence.
It's like they've been lifted from an 80's action film.ġ) We don't need the multiple perspectives, especially the lead villain's.
